Everyone has the people in their lives that you never really think will ever be gone. They are just our constants. We come to expect them to always be there to listen, lend some much needed advice, and give a warm hug... but part of life is accepting that those we love won't always be there, and eventually you are faced with a world that no longer holds those essential people physically to it. However, as we hear often through our grief, they are always with us. They are a part of us, and through us, and our love for them, their legacy lives on.
This is Betty (Mary Elizabeth Burk) Haig, my cherished Grandma, quite the beauty. She is already dearly missed.
